Kelowna’s Race for Kids Raises More Than $27,000

The fourth annual Capital One Race for Kids in Kelowna was a huge success this past weekend, with more than 115 people raising over $27,000

For the second year in a row, Waterplay Solutions Corp., sponsored and participated in this major fundraising event supporting the Okanagan Boys and Girls Clubs.

For this “Amazing Race” style competition, teams of four adults competed in a series of themed checkpoint challenges before crossing the finish line. The Race for Kids incorporates activities that focus the mind, challenge the body, and give participants a chance to be kids again, reliving some of their favourite childhood memories.

The race takes place in 20 communities across Canada, including Toronto, Calgary, Vancouver, and PEI.
